  U.S President Donald Trump Issues A Statement To African Leaders After “Shithole” Comment by Ameborguy OTHERS    African leaders decided to refrain from issuing a resolution to criticise Donald Trump’s alleged reference to their nations as “shithole countries” because the U.S. president sent them a letter expressing respect for the continent.   The leaders who met at an African Union summit in the Ethiopian capital were initially set to demand an apology from Trump over the remark reported by sources at a meeting on immigration with him this month.   Trump denies making the comment.  Man Committed Suicide After President Buhari Rejected Peace Corps Bill by Ameborguy NAIJA NEWS  A man has allegedly committed suicide after President Buhari refused to sign the Peace Corps Nigeria (PCN) Bill as passed by the National Assembly.   This statement is attributed to a presidential aspirant of the National Conscience Party, NCP, Dr Thomas Wilson lkubese and he has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to revisit the bill.   “If however President Buhari fails to so do, I urge members of the National Assembly to recall the bill, muster two-thirds of the membership and pass it into law”, Ikubese said in Akure.   “The hope of these youths and their many dependents was dashed when President Buhari withheld assent to the bill on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, citing security and financial concerns”, he said.   According to him, a member of the Peace Corps, one Mr Gambo Timothy Dogo, in Nappe, Dukku Local Govt Area of G...

The Mail reports that the Gunners have made enquiries about signing the 21-year-old this month. Boca inserted a £27million release clause in Pavon’s contract, which could also be triggered by Liverpool and Manchester City. It is believed Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, is looking to Pavon to replace Alexis Sanchez, who will join Manchester City in a matter of days. Theo Walcott is however on his way out of the Emirates, with the Mail claiming Everton will pay £20m for the England forward. Lagos State Police    Commissioner Imohimi Edgal, who paraded the suspects before newsmen at the command headquarters in Ikeja, disclosed that on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018 the Command received a complaint from one Anthony Lawani, younger brother to one Mary Ehinlaiye, now deceased, aged 51 years. NAN reported that body parts of the deceased were sliced off by yet-to-be identified persons.
